Lead Planner & Designer
I began this journey more than a decade ago, in a time when many questioned my sanity to leave a comfortable state job to pursue my passion. I was feeling uninspired and unfulfilled but today, more than ten years later, after becoming the first full-time destination wedding planner on the island; I am proud to have been key in transforming the romance industry landscape of Tobago.
In hindsight, this entire journey was really birthed in Brooklyn, NY when I began planning and designing baby showers and other small events for Daybreak World Ministries in the early 2000’s. I found immense satisfaction and fulfilment in this role and upon returning home to Tobago in 2008, although I secured a job with the state in programme management, my passion did not wane. In fact, I quickly recognised that there was much I could contribute to building this sector and in 2009 I launched full-time into wedding and event planning. By 2012, I was certified in wedding planning as I recognised the importance of honing my craft to better serve awesome couples like yourselves and in that same year I also received the Tobago House of Assembly's “Excellence in Service Award” for business. (Yayyyy!!!)
Today, I have a dynamic team and together we continue to build a legacy of excellence through delivering exceptional service to our incredible couples. I am also married to my best friend and ‘man of her dreams’ Neil and together we are the proud parents of two young kings, Neil Jr and Nathan. In my personal time, I relish in a good literature, fine-dining, prayer and travelling.
